David, co-founder and Managing Partner of ProTenant, has represented many of the nation’s leading law firms, associations and professional corporations, starting his career as a tenant broker in Washington, D.C. in 1987 and moving to Denver in 2000. David’s primary role with the firm is to significantly increase ProTenant’s client base on both a local and national level, with a strong emphasis on marketing to upper management. In addition, his responsibility is to assist in the hiring and training of new broker candidates. David also worked for Morgan Stanley in New York, specializing in institutional investing and corporate consulting. This experience has enabled his clients to better understand the financial impact on their leasing costs due to the volatility of the markets, with special consideration today given to the financial benefits of restructuring leases. David attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, graduating with a BA and BS in Economics and Finance. He was also a member of the Varsity tennis team. David is active with several non-profit organizations and associations, including the American Heart Association. Brett Davis Brett, co-founder and managing partner of ProTenant brings ten years of experience in commercial real estate consulting and brokerage. After working for seven years with a national firm, Brett decided that a brokerage firm dedicated to service and not volume was missing from the Denver Metro Market. His core focus is assisting companies to develop and implement short and long-term, comprehensive real estate strategies. Brett’s role as Managing Partner is to instill that service focus throughout the entire organization, while expanding the firm’s market share. Brett’s areas of expertise include: lease negotiations, restructures, sale/leasebacks, dispositions, build-to-suits, and cash flow analysis of lease vs. purchase alternatives. Brett’s service based mind set provides clients with the peace of mind that long-term strategies and solutions will be based on unparalleled operational and financial investigation. In the past two years Brett has negotiated lease transactions valued at over $160 million. Brett attended Colorado State University and holds a major in finance and minor in economics. He plays hockey and curls and has represented Colorado in numerous bonspiels throughout North America.
